Soil Stabilization
Soil Stabilization Services
URETEK provides advanced, non-invasive soil stabilization solutions for critical infrastructure, industrial facilities, commercial properties, and transportation networks. Using high-performance polymer injection systems, our methods restore bearing capacity, control settlement, and improve soil strength with minimal disruption. Whether addressing soft soils, voids, erosion, or expansive clays, URETEK's soil stabilization services are trusted nationwide by DOTs, EPC firms, engineers, and facility owners.
What Is Soil Stabilization?
Soil stabilization is the process of enhancing the physical properties of in-situ soil to improve its load-bearing capacity, stiffness, and durability. URETEK uses proprietary polymer injection systems to treat soils beneath slabs, pavements, structures, and embankments without excavation. Our solutions create a dense, impermeable matrix that resists water infiltration and long-term degradation.

Integrated Capabilities
Drainage Improvements: Grouting to divert or block groundwater behind walls.
Soil Densification: Improves bearing capacity and reduces lateral earth pressure.
Void Filling: Eliminates subsurface gaps that weaken support.
Crack Sealing & Waterproofing: Prevents ongoing water infiltration.
Validation & QA
DCP (Dynamic Cone Penetrometer) testing for pre/post soil strength.
Visual monitoring for lift or displacement correction.
Injection log tracking for depth, volume, and pattern confirmation.
Optional structural monitoring for critical infrastructure zones.
Injection Depths: Typically 3 to 15 feet, deeper as needed
Testing: Verified with DCP, plate load, laser monitoring, and modulus testing
Solution Applications
Roadway or bridge abutment walls .
Residential or commercial retaining walls .
Hillside erosion control structures .
MSE (Mechanically Stabilized Earth) wall rehabilitation .
Industrial yard or loading dock wall stabilization.
URETEK Stormwater Rehabilitation Techniques
Joint and Crack Sealing: Stops water entry and loss at defect locations.
Void Filling and Soil Stabilization: Prevents collapse and restores ground support .
Acrylate and Polyurethane Grouting: Seals active leaks in wet or high-flow conditions.
Curtain Grouting: Creates external water barriers around large-diameter infrastructure.
Lateral and Connection Sealing: Isolates defect pathways contributing to I/I and settlement.
